5K Run/Walk FAQ

The 5k Run is a "fun run" and will not be timed.

The 5K entry cost is $15 and ensures the participant an event T-Shirt, event medallion with lanyard, and water/snack at the finish line. Payment is only available on-line and all major credit cards and Venmo are accepted. We use PayPal for payment processing to reduce our transaction fees.

The entry fee is tax deductible as Rod's Project, LLC is a registered 501(c)3 organization. Your receipt can be used as a receipt for the tax deduction.

You may register using the link on the Spring Fling page.

The 5K Walk/Run course starts at the Williams football field on Wilmington College's campus. From there, participants will make their way to the Tri-County Greenbelt trail, cross Fife Avenue on to the Judy Gano Trail, and into the park. Signs along the way will be posted to keep all participants on the planned route.

A pet may join any participant over 18 years old with the understanding that the pet must be non-aggressive and remain leashed at all times. Muzzles are not required but are encouraged. The participant is responsible for any injuries the pet may cause or incur.
